JOB TITLE: Production and Packaging Workers

AIO currently have multiple roles for all shifts available within different manufacturing warehouses, based across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

About the Role:

• Pay rate of $26-$27 per hour
• Varying production worker roles
• All shifts
• Ongoing work
• Food and beverage industry

These roles are for people with:

• GMP food experience
• Have previous packing and/or warehouse experience
• Sound physical fitness and the ability to lift 9-25 kgs, kneel, bend and squat, stand for long periods, walk around work site and climb stairs etc

Role Requirements:

• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy
• Assisting in ensuring that production requirements and standards are met
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
• Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care as per documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Report all machinery and equipment issues
• Work cooperatively with your team to meet targets and goals
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Observe all OH&S guidelines and report any safety concerns to management
• Follow all written and verbal instructions
• Attend safety and production trainings as required
• Immediately report any food safety or quality non-conformances
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and personal hygiene practices
• Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
• You must have the right to work full-time in Australia. No student visas allowed.
